Good Afternoon, Next today we are with Contigeo in Stratford upon Avon, We are here to Remove a fake antivirus calling its self Internet Security 2010 which we accomplish and upon checking we found and removed several other Trojan Viruses and associated malware. We also performed some other general computer maintenance and upgraded the customers AVG 8.5 antivirus to version 9.
This morning we are at Henley in Arden to remove a root kit virus called “Smart Fortress 2012″ this is going to be a scam to take money for a so called antivirus that claims you have thousands of virus’s or registry issues – standard scare tactic should be removable by editing the registry and running a Malwarebytes Scan.
Update : it turns out this arrived via an email claiming to be a Federal Express missed delivery and the customer had opened the attachment
