Virus and malware removal on a slow running computer at Clifton on Dunsmore near Rugby in Warwickshire

Good morning today we are with a customer on Church Street at Clifton on Dunsmore near Rugby in Warwickshire.
We are here to repair a computer that the customer has reported they had a virus on the Sony Vaio laptop computer running Windows 7 which they attempted to remove but since then has been running Slow and producing a blue screen with the error message Kernel inpage error.

To repair this computer we ran a Malwarebytes scan which revealed some Trojan Virus problems and the possibility that the main cause is a virus hidden in the system files this is known as a root kit virus, to fix this we had to turn off the system restore service in the System Protection tab ran the antivirus root kit removal tools which found and removed the root kit virus, we then turned back on the system protection, created a new restore point and updated the antivirus definition.

This machine is now clean of viruses and working at its expected speed.

Good morning today we are at a Customer in Southam to examine and perform an on-site computer repair on a desktop computer System.

Update: this job Required a new power supply unit and a Trojan Virus plus some malware removed.

Browser Hijack and Missing Documents at Marton

We are with a customer on the High Street in Marton, The Problem here is that the computer has missing Documents, Pictures, Emails, It also has a Browser Hijack which upon opening Internet Explorer random internet sites appeared at will, After checking the machine we removed a Root Kit Virus and several Trojan Viruses, Edited the registry, Cleaned the Internet Explorer Browser, removed all the temporary files, Repaired the computers file Permissions, and restored all the data, after all this we ran a malware scan to check all was clean.

We are now with a customer on North Street in Marton, We are here to remove a fake antivirus program calling its self Internet Security 2010, This is done by editing the Registry and removing all associated files.

Computer Running Slow at Marton

Good Morning, Today we are with TopGrass at their Birdingbury Road Location in Marton, We are here today because the customer is reporting that one of the computers are running Slow.

Update: on this one there was a number of programs using to many resources for this computer, We removed Google Desktop and other memory resident programs that were not required, Updated the antivirus to Avast and installed and ran a Malware Scan

Router setup and virus removal at Napton near Southam in Warwickshire

For the last job this afternoon I am at Napton near Southam in Warwickshire, We are here install the customers broadband router and setup the internet, Email and Skype, but the computer was running slowly and upon investigation we found and removed several trojan viruses.
